Bible Studies – Various studies are offered throughout the year.

Mary and Martha Fellowship  Programs with emphasis on relationships, women’s issues and spiritual growth is a main part of each meeting.  The outreach of this fellowship is service to the church and to the community.  The fellowship welcomes women of all ages September through May.

Men’s Bible Study – This study is for our men to meet on Saturday mornings and study the scripture. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Saturdays at 9:00 am.

Men’s Emmaus Reunion – All men who have attended an Emmaus weekend are invited to join with us as we celebrate the triumphs in our lives and help each other through the tough spots. This group meets every Sunday at 8:30 am in the Parlor for a time when each man can ask that truly Wesleyan question, “How goes it with your soul?”

Prime Timers (age 50+) — Bible study every other Friday at 1:00 PM in a private setting.  Meet, greet and eat at Westside Café on Camp Bowie for breakfast the third Saturday of each month.  Contact the Church office for more information of meetings and bible study at 817-249-1257.

Military Care – We remember our Veterans and support those currently serving.

Community Support – Benbrook UMC is host to many community events each year. The Benbrook Lions Club Annual Chili Dinner, Benbrook Spirit of Christmas Giving Drive, and the YMCA  use our gymnasium (the Christian Life Center) throughout the year, and you can be assured when you drive by, there will be someone here!

BUMC supports the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life BUMC participates in Benbrook’s annual Relay For Life event that celebrates survivorship and raises money for research and programs of the American Cancer Society.
